Unlock potential at every stage of your career
We all know how it feels when we're struggling against the odds. That's often when professionals consider engaging a career coach.
In reality, the most strategic career decisions are made when the winds are in our favor.
At those times, partnering with a deeply experienced career coach—someone who understands what decision-makers actually look for and can be both "on your side" and objective—adds depth and efficiency to your career decision-making and growth.
“I came for help with a career change. I stayed for the monthly clarity and directionality you give me on the job.”
The other side of the table
I’m Jared Redick. My professional career began in retained executive search with firms conducting national searches in New York and San Francisco. That meant being on the other side of the table—evaluating executives for Fortune 500 companies and major law firms, identifying leadership potential, and watching how the right narrative could open doors while the wrong one closed them.
Over nearly three decades spanning executive positioning, brand development, and career strategy, I've advised 2,700+ professionals—including C-suite executives, public company board directors, PE/VC-backed founders and leaders, and Am Law 25 firm partners and chairpersons—as well as mid-career professionals, rising leaders, and early-career graduates working in business, finance, technology, healthcare, law, and beyond.
Together, we answer tough questions, surface blind spots, and build strategies that shape not only the next move, but also the broader arc of a career—whether that means navigating an immediate transition or planning three, five, or ten years ahead.
“You’re able to get me to see past my own limitations.”
Reality-focused career coaching
Because my work focuses on telling professional stories where the written word needs to be defensible, my approach is less about "finding the color of one's parachute" and more about substantiating what's actually possible, and why. We build realistic strategies based on data as much as feelings.
After all, careers don't grow based solely on how we feel. They grow because a company, firm, or board needs our expertise, and they'll compensate us well for it.
This approach stands apart from traditional career coaching, where the prevailing wisdom is often to choose a new direction, earn another certification, and show up with fresh enthusiasm. In reality, proceeding with a compass—and a credible narrative—becomes trickier as your expertise deepens. Not impossible. Just more nuanced.
“I got more out of our first hour, than ten hours from my last executive coach.”
