Someone, somewhere needs your expertise
The question is whether your firm and career clearly signal that value—to you, your audience, and the systems that decide what comes next.
The Redick Group operates at the uncommon intersection of:
Career strategy
Personal brand
Organizational positioning
We serve professionals and firms who want more control over their trajectory, whether pivoting, advancing, or starting out.
We turn your experience into focused stories and practical plans—résumés, bios, LinkedIn profiles, leadership narratives, and web strategy and content—especially when human expertise, judgment, and influence matter. These assets serve as both job search tools when the need arises, as well as business essentials used or translated in consulting proposals, RFPs, investor communications, partner profiles, regulatory filings, and by retained search firms looking to poach top talent.
The writing is just the beginning.
Engagements are structured around in-depth, collaborative sessions where we surface the choices, patterns, and proof points that define your value.
The questions go deep.
The commitment is real.
What emerges is self-awareness, a sharper sense of what you want and don't want, and the ability to move forward with intention. This is the work that makes it easier for the right people and systems to find you and recognize your fit—whether through applicant tracking systems, on LinkedIn, in search, in the rooms where decisions get made, or when your materials are representing you in proposals and client-facing contexts you may never see. The result? A strategy and narrative you can deploy across every touchpoint where your audience encounters you.
Primary services:
Professional résumé writing, career coaching, and strategies that toss lighter fluid on careers.
Cohesive narratives and brand assets written around the people who set your company apart.
Thinking sessions that surface blind spots and test assumptions. No written deliverables.
Returning clients
Many of the people and firms here have worked with me for years. Some for decades, some on a monthly basis. They return when they're pivoting, promoting, launching something new, or positioning for a board role. And some meet just to pressure-test ideas and have a sounding board. The relationship doesn't end when the résumé or brand deliverables are finished; it evolves. If you're already a client, welcome back. If you're new, you're in good company.

A new way of thinking.
I'm Jared Redick, and I built The Redick Group on the principles I applied in retained executive search with firms conducting national searches in New York and San Francisco. That meant being on the other side of the table—evaluating executives and partners, identifying leadership potential, and watching how the right narrative could open doors while the wrong one closed them.
Pattern recognition, rigorous questioning, and the ability to see past surface-level narratives are woven into the work of executive search, and that foundation still shapes how I work today—whether with individuals or firms. I learned early that what separates those who advance from those who don't often comes down to narrative architecture: the ability to make expertise legible, to surface hidden value, and to help decision-makers see the end state in what you bring.
My work usually begins with a private-client engagement where I work one-on-one to dig deep into a person's career intentions, hopes, and challenges—all with the goal of helping them gain clarity and resolution, and creating a robust personal-professional brand. Sometimes, that expands into a throughline of work supporting their corporate obligations or new ventures. The assets we create together—résumés, bios, LinkedIn profiles, websites, taglines—are endpoints, yes. They're also tools for growth, for opportunity, and for navigating the complexities of leadership and business.
I've been fascinated by the power of seeing one's value on paper since I was a teenager typing resumes on my blue Smith Corona typewriter—long before I understood why that simple act of articulation could change what becomes possible.
My clients
My clients have come from all types of organizations, here are just a few:
“The number of pings I’ve gotten since we worked together is unbelievable, in part because I’m now working for [Company Name], but also because my story is clear and hits all the right points.”
- Vice President, Technology from Stockholm, Sweden; San Francisco, CA; and New York, NY
