Guiding companies and leaders through the quiet, personal moments that shape their futures
Who We Are
In every company and career, there are pivotal moments—thresholds between the present and what's next. Sometimes these moments make headlines: a new appointment, a successful launch, a board seat. More often, the turning point is quiet and deeply personal—a second act, a new venture, or the decision to finally clarify a story that's grown nuanced over time.
As an executive identity and corporate branding firm, The Redick Group helps people and companies communicate their value at these moments, particularly when human knowledge, experience, and judgment are the primary assets.
About Jared Redick
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jared Redick brings nearly three decades of experience advising C-suite executives, board directors, and rising professionals across business, technology, finance, healthcare, and law. His core specializations include executive positioning, career development, and corporate communications. He also creates brand and communications assets for boutique professional services firms, advisories, and consultancies.
Before founding The Redick Group, Jared held executive and legal recruiting roles with nationally retained search firms in New York and San Francisco, conducting searches for Fortune 15 companies, top law firms, and major nonprofits. He has deep expertise supporting executives through career transitions, branding, and decision-making, and is a sought-after speaker and trainer for organizations such as Beyond Academia, CFA Institute, University of California, National Résumé Writers' Association, and Harvard Club of Washington, D.C.
He is the author of Jared Redick’s Job Description Analysis (JDA), a widely used career decision-making tool among Fortune 500 executives and aspiring leaders. His use of "The JDA" with the University of California inspired career development tutorials by the Modern Language Association (MLA), and his ideas have appeared in American Recruiters, Forbes, Business Insider, MSN, AOL, American Bar Association, Legal Career Journal, LinkedIn, The World News, and Yahoo! Finance, among others.
In 2013, Jared dedicated part of his practice to supporting up-and-coming leaders in navigating critical career transitions. His programs helped University of California PhD candidates in STEM and the humanities successfully shift from academia to industry—many of whom today hold leadership roles at some of the world's most influential companies and firms.
My approach
Most of my work happens at turning points—when someone is stepping into a new role, launching a firm, joining a board, or finally clarifying a story that's grown complex over time. These are quiet, high-stakes moments where clarity and precision matter more than polish.
I work one-on-one with clients to surface the choices, patterns, and proof points that define their value. The process is rigorous and collaborative: in-depth sessions where we dig into career intentions, test assumptions, and build narratives that hold up under scrutiny. What we create together—résumés, bios, LinkedIn profiles, leadership narratives, web copy—aren't endpoints. They're tools for navigating complexity, opening opportunities, and making strategic moves with confidence.
If your future is built on expertise, there's no room for guesswork. Every word matters. Every decision is a chance to go deeper. The result isn't just polished materials—it's a strategy and narrative you can deploy in investor communications, board materials, interviews, and regulatory filings. It can even change how you evaluate and interview others for leadership roles.
